The Onevet – Caldas da Rainha team consists of three veterinarians, two veterinary nurses, and four assistants, united by the same passion: caring for animals with respect, commitment, and affection. We believe that each patient is unique and deserves dedicated attention, time and tranquillity. We work together to offer comprehensive diagnoses and personalised care, always ensuring the well-being and comfort of our patients — and the trust of their families.

Ricardo Tavares

Clinical Director / Veterinary Doctor

My name is Ricardo Tavares, and I am the clinical director at Onevet in Caldas da Rainha. I have a special interest in orthopaedics and soft tissue surgery. I am currently developing skills in minimally invasive surgical techniques such as laparoscopy. In my spare time, I enjoy surfing and travelling.

Joana Nobre

Veterinary Doctor

I am Joana, a veterinary surgeon with 18 years of experience. I chose this field because of my deep love for animals. I have a special interest and advanced training in general surgery and ophthalmology, as well as a particular fondness for preventive medicine. In my work, I value a humane, responsible approach focused on the well-being of each animal. In my free time, I devote myself to literature and discovering new places and cultures through travel.

Susie Marques

Veterinary Doctor

My name is Susie Marques. I work at Onevet Veterinary Clinic in Caldas da Rainha, and I have been a veterinary surgeon for four years. I have a special interest in internal medicine and orthopaedics. In my free time, I enjoy going for walks and spending time with my friends.

Veterinary Nurse

My name is Cristiana Dinis. I completed my veterinary nursing course in 2023 at the Elvas Agricultural College and have been working at Onevet Caldas da Rainha since December 2024. My areas of interest are emergencies and anaesthesia, in which I am investing in training. In my free time, I enjoy exercising, caring for my animals and travelling.

Diana Pinheiro

Veterinary Nurse

My name is Diana Pinheiro and I am a veterinary nurse. I graduated from the Castelo Branco Higher Agricultural School in 2011 and worked for several years in a hospital setting, with a special interest in hospitalisation and emergencies, although in the last year I have also become interested in the field of anaesthesia. In 2023, I completed a postgraduate course at Improve Ibérica in emergencies and intensive care.

Bruna Figueiredo

Veterinary Assistant

My name is Bruna Figueiredo. Since I was young, I have always loved animals and been interested in this field. In secondary school, I ended up taking a different path, completing a course in advertising and marketing with the intention of continuing in event production. In 2015, I had the opportunity to deepen my knowledge in the field I had always wanted to work in: veterinary medicine. I completed my veterinary assistant course in 2016 and joined the hospital where I did my internship. I have been part of the NobreVet/Onevet veterinary assistant team for 9 years. Training in feline behaviour and grooming. In my free time, I enjoy reading, cinema and travelling.

Ana Poejo

Veterinary Assistant

My name is Ana Poejo. I have been working at Onevet Veterinary Clinic in Caldas da Rainha since January 2019 as a receptionist and administrative assistant. For many years now, I have been assisting nurses and anyone else who needs help. My areas of interest are customer service, administrative duties and scheduling. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends, going for walks and travelling.

Liliana Gonçalves

Veterinary Assistant

My name is Liliana. I am a receptionist at OneVet Caldas da Rainha and I am finishing my course in Veterinary Assistance. I have three cats: Seitan, Tofu and the youngest, Avelã, who is 9 months old and has boundless energy. For many years I worked in a pharmacy and a human medicine clinic, but I discovered that it is in the veterinary field that my heart truly feels fulfilled. In my free time I like to take care of myself and enjoy the affection of my animals. Oh, and I never say no to a sweet treat — I have a very sweet tooth!

Lara Sousa

Veterinary Assistant

My name is Lara, I am 23 years old and I am a veterinary assistant and groomer. In my day-to-day work at the clinic, I am responsible for assisting doctors and nurses and keeping the workplace clean and organised. I have a solution-oriented approach to my work, so don't be surprised if you see me with a toolbox in my hand trying to fix something. In my spare time, I visit schools on an educational farm and provide grooming services, not to mention my eight pets, who also require time and attention. So, I don't really have any free time! I care for every animal that comes my way as if it were my own, and I believe that this is my greatest quality: putting love into everything I do.
