Onevet Veterinary Clinic in Freixieiro has been developing its clinical capabilities in recent years, investing in staff training and equipment, with the primary goal of ensuring the health and well-being of animals and their families. We have a team of one veterinary surgeon and one assistant.

Rita Maruco Oliveira
Clinical Director / Veterinary Doctor
Integrated Master's Degree in Veterinary Medicine from the Abel Salazar Institute of Biomedical Sciences (ICBAS) at the University of Porto in 2017. She completed a curricular internship at Onevet Veterinary Hospital in Porto in 2016/2017 and at The Neighbourhood Veterinary Centre in London in 2017. She has been working with the Leçavet group since 2017 and is currently the clinical director of Onevet Veterinary Clinic in Freixieiro.Her main areas of interest are Cardiology and Internal Medicine, having participated in several training courses and conferences in her areas of preference, namely the postgraduate training in Small Animal Cardiology at Improve International in 2020/2021 and the Course in Echocardiography in Dogs and Cats at ECOS Vet in 2021/2022. In 2025, he obtained the General Practitioner Certificate in Small Animal Cardiology from the International School of Veterinary Postgraduate Studies (ISVPS).
Patrícia Pinto
Veterinary Doctor
Integrated Master's Degree in Veterinary Medicine from the Abel Salazar Institute of Biomedical Sciences (ICBAS) at the University of Porto in 2022.In the same year, she completed a curricular internship in Animal Behaviour with Dr. Mónica Roriz and at the +Animais Veterinary Hospital, where she worked in different departments: consultations, hospitalisation, surgery and emergencies. She has been working with the Leçavet group since November 2022, with her main areas of interest being Imaging, Animal Behaviour and Internal Medicine.
She is committed to continuous learning and participates in various training courses and conferences.
