Onevet Santa Apolónia Veterinary Clinic with 24-hour emergency services, provided by Onevet Coimbra University Veterinary Hospital
The Sta Apolónia Veterinary Clinic first opened its doors on 14 July 2008.
It opened its doors on 14 July 2008 and the choice of location in the Santa Apolónia neighbourhood was initially intended to fill the gap in the northern part of the city of Coimbra, where there was no facility that could provide credible healthcare for small animals. Under the clinical direction of Dr Ana Madeira, the Santa Apolónia Veterinary Clinic has a clinical staff with solid training and experience, resorting, whenever necessary, to the collaboration of clinicians of recognised merit in highly specialised areas.
From a technological point of view, the Santa Apolónia Veterinary Clinic has the appropriate internal resources for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of all types of pathologies in its patients. A fully equipped operating theatre allows any type of surgery to be performed on small animals.
We are committed to providing all the information that allows guardians to actively collaborate in the prevention of their pets’ diseases, as well as to participate in all decisions involving the use of any means of diagnosis and/or treatment. After all, the most important thing is to ensure the well-being of your pet.
