Ana Alexandra Pinto
Veterinary Doctor Director
Ana Alexandra Pinto has a degree in Veterinary Medicine from the Abel Salazar Institute of Biomedical Sciences in 2008. She did her curricular internships at the Ars Veterinary Hospital (Barcelona), at the College of Veterinary Medicine (Tennessee), and the Veterinary Hospital Montenegro (Porto).She started her clinical activity in the Greater Porto area in 2009. She has been the Clinical Director of the Ermesinde Veterinary Clinic since 2011.
Her areas of interest are internal medicine, particularly oncology and soft tissue surgery.
Over the years, she has invested her training in these areas, including the Soft Tissue Surgery course at the Montenegro Training Centre and the Onco PopUp – Update Programme in Veterinary Oncology at ISPUP, both in 2019.
She is currently attending a postgraduate course in small animal internal medicine at Improve International.
She believes that the best thing in life is being a mother. She loves spending quality time with family and friends, travelling, listening to music, dancing and enjoying good food.
Ana Sofia Valadares

Ana Sofia Valadares is a graduate in Veterinary Medicine from the Abel Salazar Institute of Biomedical Sciences (ICBAS), University of Porto, in 2017. She carried out her final curricular internship in the Greater Porto region (Porto Veterinary Hospital Centre) and Barcelona (Molins Veterinary Hospital).She started her professional activity in June 2017 with the OneVet group. Since December 2018, she has been a member of the clinical staff of the Ermesinde Veterinary Clinic. In July 2019, she completed the “Dermatology in Pets” course at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) – (Course integrated into the postgraduate degree in Companion Animals).
She has an Advanced Postgraduate in Advanced Specialisation in Intervention in Behavioural Illness in Companion Animals at INSPSIC.
Her main areas of interest are internal medicine, feline medicine, dermatology and animal behaviour.
In her free time, she enjoys exercising, reading, travelling, and spending time with family and friends. She has loved animals since she was a little girl. Ana is dedicated to learning more about animal behaviour and believes that communication is one of the fundamental pillars for a better relationship between owner and companion animal.

Georgina Quaresma
Veterinary Nurse
Georgina Quaresma has a degree in Veterinary Nursing from the Bragança School of Agriculture since 2013. She completed her curricular internship at Aveiro Veterinary Clinic and Aveiro Veterinary Hospital. In April 2014, she began her professional internship at Onevet Ermesinde Veterinary Clinic, where she has been working ever since.She then did her postgraduate Diploma in Practical Veterinary Nursing Techniques in 2020 from Improve International.
She also has a diploma in Feline Nursing, which she gained in 2021 from the International Society of Feline Medicine (ISFM).
She’s a certified nurse with FFP’s Fear Free programme and ISFM’s Cat-Friendly programme.
Currently, she is studying for a diploma in Advanced Feline Behaviour, also from ISFM.
Along the way, she has completed other training courses as she firmly believes that focus, work and drive are the ingredients for success and achievement.
Her areas of interest are feline medicine and behaviour, nutrition and emergency and intensive care.
In her spare time, she loves a nice walk in the company of her dog Tomé, being with family and friends, discovering new places and cultures and watching a good film or series. And of course, being a cat lover, she can’t live without her cats. After all, purring is therapy.
Flávia Silva
Veterinary Assistant
Flávia Silva completed her veterinary assistant course in 2018 at S.A Formação. She did her internship at the Gondomar Veterinary Centre. She joined the clinical staff of Onevet Ermesinde Veterinary Clinic in April 2019, where she's been working as an assistant ever since.Her areas of interest are preventive medicine, clinical admission, nutrition and paediatrics. In the future, she would like to train in grooming. In her spare time, she likes to explore nature by hiking in the hills of Porto. She likes interior design and tidying up.
