The facilities at HVAM \u2013 Amarante Veterinary Hospital reflect our commitment to excellence in animal care, which is why they have been designed to offer comfort, safety and efficiency, both for our patients and their owners. Since 2018, with the inauguration of the new space, we have been able to expand our service capacity and ensure a modern, functional and welcoming environment. The hospital has rooms equipped for emergencies, a state-of-the-art operating theatre with cutting-edge technology, separate inpatient units for dogs and cats, equipped with individual boxes made of hygienic and easily disinfected material, providing safety and comfort, continuous monitoring of patients, with equipment for assessing vital signs, an isolation area for infectious cases, ensuring a strict biosafety protocol, a post-operative recovery area, allowing direct surveillance at the most critical moments, an internal medicine area with spaces dedicated to ultrasound, echocardiography, x-rays, spacious consultation rooms and a physiotherapy area with hydrotherapy specially prepared for animal rehabilitation. Every detail has been designed to provide more humane, safe and effective care \u2014 from reception to specialised care.
