Roberto Chau
Veterinary Doctor Director
Degree in Veterinary Medicine from the Institute of Biomedical Sciences Abel Salazar of the University of Porto since 2005.Did his curricular internship at Macau Jockey Club and Macau Municipal Kennel during the year 2004. He began his professional activity in 2005 in Clinics for companion animals in the region of Greater Porto, and joined the clinical staff at Onevet Gondomar Veterinary Clinic in 2007, where he assumed the clinical direction until November 2022.
He is now Clinical Director of Onevet Valongo Veterinary Clinic.
His main areas of interest are surgery, imaging, urology, dermatology and management.
Inês Tavares
Veterinary Doctor
She completed a postgraduate course in Small Animal Soft Tissue Surgery at the European School of Postgraduate Veterinary Studies (ESVPS) in 2024 and a postgraduate course in Small Animal Internal Medicine (GPCert Small Animal Medicine) in 2022. She attended the Basic Soft Tissue Surgery Course at the Montenegro Training Center in 2019.She has been a regular presence at various training sessions and webinars on various subjects.
She completed her Master’s Degree in Veterinary Medicine at the Abel Salazar Institute of Biomedical Sciences (ICBAS) at the University of Porto in 2018. She completed an extracurricular internship at Onevet Hospital Veterinário do Porto (HVP) and a curricular internship at Troytown Grey Abbey Equine Veterinary Services, in Ireland, and at Horsevet Team – Serviços Veterinários.
She began her professional career in the city of Porto in pet clinic and surgery in 2018, developing a special interest in the areas of surgery and internal medicine.

Miguel Martins

He completed his Master's Degree in Veterinary Medicine in 2024 at the University of Évora, having also studied at the University of Veterinary Medicine in Budapest in 2021 under the ERASMUS + program.He completed curricular internships at veterinary care centers in Évora and a curricular internship at OneVet – Hospital Veterinário do Porto (HVP).
During and after completing his Master’s degree, he attended various lectures, training sessions and webinars in different areas of veterinary medicine.
His main areas of interest are ophthalmology, imaging and surgery.

Patrícia Faria
Veterinary Nurse
Patrícia Faria has a degree in Veterinary Technology/Veterinary Nursing from the Bragança School of Agriculture, which she finished in 2008.She completed her curricular internship in Spain – Verin (De la Fuente Veterinary Clinic), and after this, worked at the Lousã Veterinary Clinic in 2009. She then went on to complete her professional internship in 2010 at Onevet Ermesinde Veterinary Clinic.
She then worked from 2010 until 2015, after which she started working at Onevet Gondomar Veterinary Clinic. Her main areas of interest are imaging and soft tissue surgery. In her spare time, she loves playing futsal and going swimming.
Joana Carvalho
Veterinary Assistant
Joana Carvalho completed her veterinary assistant course in 2017 and did a groomer course in 2019.She was a member of the team at Onevet Gondomar Veterinary Clinic from November 2019 until June 2020. She then joined the team at Onevet Valongo Veterinary Clinic.
She is the owner of two beautiful dogs, Lucky and Jasmine.
Her areas of interest include support in admission and intensive care. Outside the veterinary field, her main passions are cinema and photography.
Liliana Barbosa

She joined the Onevet team in November 2022, where she currently works as a veterinary assistant, surgical and anesthetic support, reception, office, hospitalization and stock management.In her spare time, she enjoys listening to music, going to the movies and socializing with family and friends.
