The team at Onevet Clínica Veterinária de Setúbal is made up of 6 veterinary surgeons, 5 veterinary nurses and 3 assistants.

Pedro Azadinho Loureiro
Clinical Director / Veterinary Doctor
Veterinary surgeon and Clinical Director, graduated in Veterinary Medicine from the Faculdade de Medicina Veterinária da Universidade Técnica de Lisboa in 2002.Throughout his career, he has continuously invested in advanced training, particularly in Orthopaedics through the European School of Advanced Veterinary Studies, as well as several specialised courses, including TPLO (ESAVS, 2022), Patellar Luxation (ESAVS, 2025), the Complete External Fixation Course by IMEX (2015) and the TTA Course (Kyon, 2011).
He also holds a postgraduate qualification in Internal Medicine from the Faculdade de Medicina Veterinária da Universidade Lusófona (2009), together with additional training in Ultrasound (ESAVS, 2006) and Veterinary Emergency Medicine (ESAVS, 2004).
Founder of Vet R’in Área, he is deeply passionate about orthopaedic surgery and intensive care in emergency settings, while also being responsible for the Imaging department, with a particular focus on abdominal ultrasound.
His commitment is centred on promoting an ethical, highly skilled and compassionate veterinary practice, always grounded in teamwork and in deep respect for the life and health of companion animals.
Nuno Martins Pereira

Veterinary surgeon, graduated in Veterinary Medicine from the Faculdade de Medicina Veterinária da Universidade Técnica de Lisboa in 2002.He holds a postgraduate qualification in Small Animal Internal Medicine from Improve Ibérica (2011) and in Veterinary Immunoallergology (2025).
In 2015, he joined the Vet R’in Área team after more than a decade of experience in companion animal practice.
His main areas of interest are Dermatology and Allergology, fields in which he has continuously invested in further training and professional development, regularly attending specialised congresses and courses. Highlights include the Advanced Veterinary Dermatology Programme (2021), the Dermatology I and III courses at the European School of Advanced Veterinary Studies (2022–2023), and the Advanced Allergology Course (2025).
Sandra Lino Carvalho

Veterinary surgeon, graduated in Veterinary Medicine from the Faculdade de Medicina Veterinária da Universidade de Évora in 2009. She has been part of our team since 2010.She is particularly dedicated to Preventive Medicine and Internal Medicine, supporting animals throughout every stage of life, from infancy to their senior years, with the aim of promoting their wellbeing, health and healthy development.
Joana Nascimento

Veterinary surgeon, graduated in Veterinary Medicine from the Faculdade de Medicina Veterinária da Universidade Técnica de Lisboa in 2023.She has been part of our team since 2025, after previously working at Onevet Clínica das Caldas da Rainha.
She currently works in the areas of Preventive Medicine and Internal Medicine, dedicating herself to the care and wellbeing of companion animals.

Her main professional interests are General Surgery and Internal Medicine, areas in which she aims to continue developing her knowledge and skills.

She has been part of our team since 2024.Dedicated and committed, she stands out for her strong sense of professionalism, resilience and determination. She currently supports the medical team, contributing daily to the wellbeing and care of companion animals.
Her main areas of interest are Veterinary Dentistry and Veterinary Dermatology.

Sofia Azadinho
Operational Manager
Graduated in Economics from the Universidade Católica de Lisboa in 2001 and completed a postgraduate qualification in Healthcare Management at the same institution in 2009.She began her professional career in management consulting at Accenture.
In 2004, together with her husband, Pedro Azadinho, she founded Vet R’in Área, where she has since been responsible for administration and management.
Her passion lies in people, leadership and team management, which led her to develop skills in coaching, being certified by the ICL, as well as in professional training, holding the Certificate of Pedagogical Competences.
