ONEVET announces the integration of São Francisco Group, a veterinary group with a presence in the Ave Valley region, in northern Portugal, through three units located in Vizela, Lousada and Paços de Ferreira.
São Francisco Group stands out for its solid clinical structure, comprising 5 veterinarians, 3 veterinary nurses and 2 veterinary assistants, as well as an integrated management model across its three units, promoting operational efficiency and collaboration between teams. Management is led by Pedro Ferreira, veterinary surgeon, and Marília Vieira, veterinary nurse, who play a central role in operational coordination and clinical activities.
The three units feature modern and recently built clinical facilities, including reception areas, fully equipped consultation rooms, an operating theatre, an in-house laboratory and a recovery area. This structure enables the provision of general and surgical veterinary care with high levels of autonomy and efficiency, strengthening clinical responsiveness and providing more comprehensive care for animals and their owners.
With this integration, ONEVET strengthens its presence in the Ave Valley region, consolidating a more efficient network and creating opportunities for synergies between the different units and its hospitals. The transaction is aligned with the Group’s strategy of sustainable growth and its commitment to continued investment in clinical quality, proximity and the development of its teams.
